Broken Bow is home to Broken Bow Lake and is also considered the gateway to Hochatown State Park, Beavers Bend Resort Park and Cedar Creek Golf Course at Beavers Bend. Other activities at the lake include fishing, boating, camping, picnicking and birdwatching. Nearby Hochatown State Park is a short drive north of the city of Broken Bow. Recreation at the state park includes camping and a 40-room lake view lodge, swimming beaches, playgrounds, hiking trails, fishing and boating. There is also a fish cleaning station inside the park, as well as sanitary waste stations, lighted boat ramps and comfort stations.
